The Burgess Diagnostics mobile CT team visited the Big Cat Sanctuary back in October 2025 to assist their team in investigating ongoing and unexplained medical concerns affecting Luca the Amur tiger, Django the mainland clouded leopard, and Mo the cheetah.
Following detailed analysis of the scans, the Sanctuary has now shared how this landmark moment is already transforming the care of these three remarkable cats.
With the CT imaging providing invaluable clarity, the veterinary and keeper teams have been able to refine treatment plans, make informed decisions, and safeguard each cat’s long-term welfare.
